General Description:

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will champion adoption of all aspects of Salesforce management, is responsible for the administration of Salesforce.com; this includes system configuration, (Maintenance, system enhancements, etc.) creation of reports and dashboards, end-user training and data integrations, ensuring data hygiene and integrity. This role collaborates with functional leaders to identify, define, and implement changes and enhancements to meet business requirements in a dynamic, high-growth, rapidly changing enviornment.



Education, Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:

A Bachelor's degree required and 3+ years of hands-on experience administering the Salesforce.com platform. Salesforce.com Certification (ADM-201)



Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years directly administering the Salesforce.com platform.



Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects across multiple business groups.
  • Experience in leading and developing end to end solutions which could include strategy, design, development, testing and training.
  • Deomstrable change management and compliance experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and collaboration skills. Ability to develop and facilitate training for end users on effective system development.


Essential Duties:

  • Collaborates with team leaders and users to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and implement within business applications.
  • Identifies and resolves conflicting requirements from different users and functional teams to ensure business alignment.
  • Serves as the primary champion to drive adoption and development of Salesforce across the business and promote Salesforce best practices throughout the company.
  • Works closely with business partners and proactively identifies strategies which the Salesforce platform can be developed to better support AZZ's business strategy and drive growth.
  • Collaborates with other resources both in and outside the organization to manage and adapt the system as business requires (IT resources and/or consultants).
  • Manages the production of functional requirements/specifications for system changes to ensure appropriate solutions and effective delivery.
  • Develops and maintaines clear and concise system changes and maintenance documentation.
  • Reviews deliverables for accuracy and quality.
  • Prepares the AZZ platform by creating and managing security, users, profiles, business processes, triggers, page layouts, hierarchies, customized objects, workflow and validation rules, etc.
  • Leads Salesforce implementation and integration with newly acquired businesses.
  • Manages Salesforce release updates related to the AZZ platform.
  • Researches and implements best practices, monitor data integrity and work with key executives, department managers and other teams to improve data quality.
  • Supports business managers to ensure the full Salesforce solution is being utilized while optimizing the return on investment in Salesforce management.


Work Environment:

Primarily office environment at the Company's corporate headquarters with occasional visits in a plant manufacturing type environment.



Physical Demands:

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing.  Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery.  Verbal and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as telephone.

Travel:

Up to 30% light domestic business travel by air and/or car; possible international trips as required.
