General Description:

Generates sales and maintains sales programs within assigned territory.  Informs Customers about available services, supplies, prices, and new products. Meets established sales quotas. Monitors competitive activity and trends within territory.



Education/Experience:

Associate’s degree and 3 yrs experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Educational focus of either business and/or engineering. Lighting and electrical experience preferred.



Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and task effectively, timely, consistently accurately and professionally.
  • Must be able to self-direct work, prioritize and complete tasks within deadlines.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret engineering specifications, electrical and mechanical.
  • Experience with engineering product pricing and quotations.
  • Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills. 
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service including meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with outside sales support.
  • Customer service experience in manufacturing/industrial field. Experience in industrial lighting field a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data along with solid judgment and decision making skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
  • Prior experience with CRM/Salesforce and Oracle is a plus.
  • Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish).


Essential Duties:

  • Processes customer orders full cycle from Purchase Orders to project completion.
  • Communicates with customers regarding: pricing, product status, complaints, timelines and expediting, shipping and Return Goods Authorizations (RGA’s).
  • Generate project quotes over $10K while utilizing Sales Force.
  • Provides consultative and technical product support to customers, sales representatives and regional managers as needed.
  • Monitors market activity and trends to meet the organizations goals.


Schedule:

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
