Subsidiary:

AZZ Galvanizing – Kansas City

General Description:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to top line revenue for geographical market within a Galvanizing segment region along with maximize profitability while delivering on quarterly and annual revenue targets for the assigned market.  Focus on growing sales and revenue through new prospects while continuing to build strong relationships with established customer base.

Education, Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:

A Bachelor’s degree is a related field is preferred. Valid driver’s license under no type of suspension is required.

Experience:

A minimum of four years industrial sales experience.  Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy.  Proven experience in customer relationship management.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Self-starter who is able to build both internal and external relationships; strong work discipline; business acumen; strong sales closing skills along with customer problem solving skills; utilization of CRM tool to track and grow sales.

Essential Duties:

  • Establish and maintain current customer relationships.

  • Increase customer base through cold calling and lead follow up.

  • Prepare and submit quotes to customers as necessary.

  • Service the customer during and after the sale in ensure satisfaction and to promote future business.

  • Develop and maintain product knowledge.

  • Identify and resolve customer concerns.

  • Daily input in CRM tool.

  • Work both independently and in a team environment.

  • Attends trade shows and conferences as needed.

  • Assist with collections on accounts in territory.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image.

Schedule:

Full Time

Travel:

Daily sales calls in geographical area.  Mostly day trips, but will require some overnight travel.
