General Description:

The Industrial Business Analyst will be involved in the full lifecycle implementation and support of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and associated external systems. This role will consult, design and support with all levels of the organization, providing business analysis for the purpose of efficient implementation of mission critical applications across the AZZ Industrial platform.

Education, Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Finance or equivalent


  • 7 years’ experience in Oracle EBS
  • Understanding of time and labor management applications
  • General accounting knowledge

Essential Duties:

  • Craft superior solutions in Oracle EBS core financial applications (AP, AR, GL, Purchasing, Inventory, E-Business Tax, iExpense) with particular emphasis on Oracle Projects Costing and Billing
  • Manage all aspects of the Workforce Management (WFM) application
  • Consult with end-users and own the design, implementation, testing, documentation and support of assigned business processes and applications
  • Enhance interfaces between Oracle EBS and 3rd party applications
  • Show proficiency with DB tools (SQL, Oracle) and ability to query tables and understand / support technical designs
  • Experience with reporting tools ideally EIS / Splash BI
  • Apply a disciplined approach to testing ensuring coverage, thoroughness and high levels of documentation
  • Apply practical experience of Waterfall methodology to allocated projects
  • Aptitude for learning and have a curious mind
  • Able to manage projects and keep multiple initiatives moving

Work Environment:

Indoor, air conditioned environment.  Must be able to use stairs and/or elevator to arrive at destination.

Physical Demands:

Must be capable of long hours at a computer terminal.  Majority of the time is spent sitting, some standing, walking, stooping, reaching, bending and lifting less than 25 pounds. Must be able to see at close range, and perform repetitive hand/arm motions.
